This fall, 787 people took The Classical Music Census.

Their ratings of 22 periods and styles sorted most of them into five Types: Canonists, Symphonists, Baroque-First, Omnivores and Classical-Era Skeptics.

The short version takes about eight minutes. It asks the same taste questions, sorts the answers by the same rules, and gives your Type, or the one you’re closest to, as soon as you finish.
